Welcome to Qarah-Q! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Qarah-Q mobile application, website, and services (collectively, the "Services"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2. Service Description

Qarah-Q is a SaaS platform designed to streamline the healthcare experience. Key features include remote and physical queue management, AI-powered ETA calculation, seamless inter-department transfers, digital medical record access, a Treatment Security Deposit, AI-powered legacy and insurance planning tools, and a referral program.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

4. Treatment Security Deposit

  • The Treatment Security Deposit ("Deposit") is a feature that allows you to maintain a deposit for easy payment of hospital services.
  • You authorize Qarah-Q to hold these funds on your behalf.
  • In the event of an unpaid bill after a hospital visit, the healthcare provider may submit a claim against your Deposit balance. Qarah-Q will notify you and provide a grace period to settle the bill directly. If the bill remains unpaid, you authorize Qarah-Q to release funds from your Deposit to the provider.
  • Withdrawals from your Deposit are contingent on verification that all outstanding bills at partner facilities have been settled. A minimum balance may be required to keep the account active.

5. AI Features and Disclaimer

Qarah-Q offers features that utilize artificial intelligence ("AI"), including but not limited to, legacy planning (will drafting) and insurance policy summarization.

  • Not Legal or Financial Advice: AI-generated content, such as will drafts or insurance summaries, is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice.
  • Verification Required: Any will drafted using our AI tool MUST be reviewed, verified, and executed with a qualified legal professional to be legally valid. Qarah-Q is not a law firm.
  • No Guarantee of Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated summaries or recommendations may contain errors or omissions. You are solely responsible for verifying this information with original documents and qualified professionals.

6. Biometric Enrollment

By using the Biometric Enrollment feature, you consent to the secure collection, storage, and use of your biometric data (e.g., fingerprints) for the sole purposes of identity verification and emergency access to your medical records by authorized healthcare personnel. This feature is designed as a fail-safe for situations where you cannot give consent (e.g., unconsciousness).

7. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the Service. You agree not to misuse the referral program or any other feature of the Service.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
  • Qarah-Q is not a healthcare provider. We are a technology platform that facilitates your interaction with healthcare providers. We are not responsible for the quality of medical services, diagnoses, or treatments you receive.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qarah-Q shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including for breaches of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
